Eureka Round Table Interviews - Part 1

GeekFilter was lucky to catch up with the cast and crew of Eureka at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego. Sadly, given this week's news this may be their last year. Something tells me if Syfy cut short even an abbreviated sixth season they won't be promoting a show that's going off the air.

Below is part 1 of our video round table interviews with Global Dynamics' Allison Blake, Salli Richardson-Whitfield and her newly re-kindled love Sheriff Jack Carter, Colin Ferguson, along with the scientist you love to hate, Dr. Parish played by TV's Wil Wheaton. Part 2 will include GD's Douglas Fargo, Neil Grayston and series writer Bruce Miller.

Fringe Round Table video interviews - Joshua Jackson

Spoiler alerts! If you haven't seen the finale of Fringe move on! There's nothing to see here.

I dare say it was almost inevitable. Peter never existed + Joshua Jackson was not on the line-up for this years Comic-Con + Joshua Jackson has not quit Fringe =  'surprise' guest on stage at the Fringe panel. And Fox didn't disappoint.  Joshua Jackson appeared, clad in Observer garb dashed on stage and luckily, GeekFilter got a chance to talk to him afterwards.

Talking Sonic Screwdrivers with Doctor Who's Prop Maker Nick Robatto

More than any ofther Comic-Con in recent memeory, Comic-Con 2011 was the Doctor's con. From the Doctor Who & Torchwood panels, to the fez-wearing con-goers, there was a strong Gallifreyian influence.

GeekFilter caught up with the folks at the Quantum Mechanix Inc. booth and had a chat with Doctor Who prop maker, Nick Robatto about his work on the show and for QMx.

New Torchwood: Miracle Day Trailer revealed Comic-Con

We've just come from the Torchwood: Miracle Day panel at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con where, among other things, Eve Myles turned bright red as a fan said she melted his heart (and John Barrowman did things to other parts of his anatomy) and John Barrowman lead the crowd in a few bars of "Tomorrow" from the musical "Annie". But, before the shenanigans began fans were treated to a new trailer. Check out the link for the trailer and come back later for pictures from the panel.
